Celerity Internet was formally started in September of 2011 but unofficially began with an idea and passion for network engineering and design in early 2009. The principles of Celerity Internet have a combined 40 years of network design and engineering experience.
Celerity Internet began offering consulting services to ISP’s and WISP’s in network design and best practices in 2011. In early 2012 we began the deployment of WISP services in the Spearfish, SD area. With our first tower deployed by the end of April 2012 Celerity Internet was able to begin servicing hundreds of rural residents with high speed internet connectivity with performance equal to and some cases better than dsl/cable service.
